FAQs

  • Why do we not stay to host the party?
    • There are 2 reasons. The first is that we do not want to disappoint customers by not having their chosen date free. We have multiple party kits available which allows more than 1 party to take place at anytime and a greater chance of the customer’s chosen date being available. The second reason is it allows more flexibility for our customers. If painters need more time or want to take break, they are not limited to our schedule.
  • Is there an age restriction?
    • No, not at all. Pottery painting is definitely not just for children. It can be for adults too! Newborn babies can have their handprints painted on plates, children can paint money boxes at a birthday party and adults can paint teapots at a hen do! Younger children may need help and we do recommend adult supervision at all times at children’s parties.
  • Are our glazes safe and do they wash out of clothing?
    • Our glazes are non-toxic and lead free. Once they are fired, they are food safe. The glaze will wash easily out of clothing but you could always suggest painters wear suitable clothing if you’d like.
  • Why do we charge a deposit on the party kit?
    • We charge a £30 deposit on our party kits rather than an extra fee for the kit. The kits contain glaze and brushes along with spare pottery pieces. They are the core of our business so we need to look after them. We will fully refund your deposit on collection of the painted pottery and complete party kit.
